Roxie- Boxer/Setter Mix
Adopted 2009
PETE , now Sting
One year old black & white male Border Collie who plays well with others, including feline friends. Pete was a stray, running loose when brought into rescue. Pete has been adopted by a couple who have agility dogs. He has been renamed "Sting". We hope to see "Sting" in the headlines on the disc/agility circuit very soon!
CHARLIE- Adopted Sept 21, 2009
He was rescued by a good samaritan who contacted T&T Rescue after they saw someone "dumping" him. Charlie is an active little guy, most likely a Border Collie/Min Pin Mix. His date of birth is (approx.) Jan. 15, 2009. He plays well with others and was looking for a home that would support his active lifestyle. He found one...now you might find Charlie frequently walking the Monon Trail with his new "human".
VENUS- Adopted July 2009
Born Dec. 31, 2009 to a Rott Mix mother & most likely a Shepherd father. Her bubbly personality would never reflect her tough start in life. She is quite pleased to just lay next to your feet once she has settled down from "puppy playtime". She was born with a defect of the right front leg which was amputated in April. She is spayed & current on her vaccinations. Her new family just loves her & are delighted with her happy attitude towards everyone! She has recently been deployed to Japan with her new family. Go Army!
CLAWDE- ADOPTED NOVEMBER 2008
He was saved from a "high kill" shelter in Kentucky in May of this year. He was just going to "spend a few nights" here, but due to illness at the shelter he was headed to in Northern Indiana his stay became extend. His new owners are delighted with him.
ALI - Adopted 2008
She is a hound/boxer mix from a Kentucky shelter that was also to stay just a few days. Her new owners refer to her as "Big Girl" who now has a few acres & pond to patrol with her new canine & feline siblings.
WHO ARE WE?
We foster dogs & cats by providing them temporary room & board, basic obedience, health needs & love so they may become more adoptable. We are a small rescue and often assist other rescue organizations by providing a "place" for an animal just for the weekend or week until they can find a more permanent shelter or home.
We operate through kindness of others.
